Phil Lord and Christopher Miller's The Lego Movie arrived in February 2014 from Warner Bros. Pictures and Village Roadshow, a production that surprised critics and audiences alike with its layered humor and genuine emotional depth. Working with Animal Logic, the filmmakers crafted a fully animated world rendered to resemble physical stop-motion, a technical and artistic achievement that helped redefine expectations for studio animation in the mid-2010s.

This 35mm cell carries the confirmed title Vitruvius, the ancient wizard voiced by Morgan Freeman whose prophecy sets the entire story in motion. The frames present a warmly lit Lego cityscape, the saturated environment characteristic of the film's meticulous world-building, with Vitruvius present within that bustling, brick-built setting.
