Warner Bros. Pictures released The Lego Movie in February 2014, directed by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller. The film arrived as a genuine surprise, transforming a toy brand into a sharp, layered comedy that worked equally well for children and adults. Its blend of stop-motion aesthetic with computer animation gave it a distinctive visual identity, and its commercial and critical success helped establish a new franchise while demonstrating that animated films built around licensed properties could carry genuine artistic ambition.

This cell captures Vitruvius, the ancient wizard and reluctant prophet at the heart of the story, resting against a colorful backdrop in what reads as a theatrical or ceremonial setting.
