Phil Lord and Christopher Miller's The Lego Movie arrived from Warner Bros. Pictures in February 2014, a film that surprised audiences and critics alike by delivering genuine wit and emotional depth beneath its animated brick-built surface. Working with Animal Logic, the production rendered its world to mimic the look of physical stop-motion, a technical and artistic achievement that helped the film gross over 460 million dollars worldwide and reshape expectations for branded entertainment.
