Phil Lord and Christopher Miller's The Lego Movie arrived from Warner Bros. Pictures in February 2014, a theatrical animated feature that confounded expectations by delivering genuine wit and emotional resonance alongside its commercial premise. Working with Animal Logic, the directors crafted a film that engaged audiences across generations and demonstrated that studio animation could still surprise.
