Forrest Gump was released by Paramount Pictures in July 1994, directed by Robert Zemeckis and produced by Wendy Finerman. The film swept that year's Academy Awards, taking six Oscars including Best Picture and Best Director. Adapted from Winston Groom's novel, it became one of the highest-grossing films of its decade and remains a defining artifact of 1990s American cinema, its frames now among the most recognized in the medium.

This cell, titled Jenny, captures Robin Wright's Jenny Curran in a white dress, lying on a dock extending over dark, still water.
