Forrest Gump was released by Paramount Pictures in July 1994, directed by Robert Zemeckis and based on Winston Groom's 1986 novel. The film became one of the defining cultural touchstones of its decade, winning six Academy Awards including Best Picture and Best Director. Shot on 35mm by cinematographer Don Burgess, it remains a landmark of American studio filmmaking, blending historical spectacle with intimate character work.

This cell, titled Forrest and Bubba, captures Tom Hanks as Forrest Gump alongside Mykelti Williamson as Bubba Blue in what appears to be the Army barracks sequence, one of the film's most quietly affecting passages.
