Forrest Gump was released by Paramount Pictures in July 1994, directed by Robert Zemeckis and based on Winston Groom's 1986 novel. The film became one of the defining cultural touchstones of its decade, earning six Academy Awards including Best Picture and Best Director. Shot on 35mm by cinematographer Don Burgess, its warm, expansive imagery became inseparable from its storytelling, making original film material from the production particularly meaningful to collectors.

This cell, titled Jenny and Forrest, captures three consecutive frames from a single indoor shot featuring Jenny Curran and Forrest Gump, both dressed in white. Jenny is turned toward the camera with a smile, and the sequential nature of the frames preserves the natural flow of the moment as it existed on the original 35mm print.
