Back to the Future Part II was released by Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment in November 1989, arriving as one of the most anticipated sequels of its decade. Directed by Robert Zemeckis, the film expanded the time-travel mythology established in the original, sending audiences to 2015, the past, and an alternate 1985. It remains a cultural touchstone, its vision of the future embedded in popular memory.
