Back to the Future Part II was released by Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment in November 1989, arriving as one of the most anticipated sequels of its decade. Directed by Robert Zemeckis, the film expanded the time-travel mythology established in the original, sending audiences to 2015, the past, and back again. It remains a landmark of late-1980s blockbuster filmmaking and a touchstone of popular culture.
