Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment released Back to the Future Part II in November 1989, continuing one of the decade's most beloved science-fiction comedies. Directed by Robert Zemeckis and produced by Steven Spielberg's company, the sequel expanded the original's time-travel mythology into the future year of 2015 and the alternate 1985, becoming a major box-office success and a defining piece of late-1980s popular culture.

This cell preserves the Back to the Future Part II title card, presenting the film's iconic orange stylised logo against a stark black background. The frame appears three times across the strip, with the final instance showing a partial crop at the right edge — a natural artifact of how title sequences were composed and printed on 35mm release prints.
