Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment released Back to the Future Part II in November 1989, reuniting director Robert Zemeckis with his cast for an ambitious sequel that pushed the original film's time-travel premise into bold new territory. The production became one of the year's biggest commercial successes and remains a cultural touchstone for its imaginative vision of 2015.
This cell, titled Jennifer and Marty, captures three nearly consecutive frames from inside the DeLorean's cockpit, the colorful glow of the instrument panel visible in the background behind the two figures. The tight, consistent framing across all three images gives the strip an almost contact-sheet quality, preserving a quiet interior moment between the film's two central companions.
