Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment released Back to the Future Part II in November 1989, reuniting director Robert Zemeckis and writer Bob Gale with the cast of their 1985 phenomenon. The sequel pushed its time-travel premise into bold new territory, depicting a then-distant 2015 alongside alternate timelines and a revisit to 1955. It performed strongly at the box office and has since become a cultural touchstone, its vision of the future endlessly referenced and examined.

This cell, titled Marty and Jennifer, captures Marty McFly and Jennifer Parker in close proximity within a vehicle interior, the frame alive with the glow of illuminated panel lights.
