Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment released Back to the Future Part II in November 1989, arriving four years after the original became one of the decade's defining blockbusters. Directed again by Robert Zemeckis, the sequel pushed further into time-travel mythology, sending its characters to 2015 and back to 1955. It remains a cultural touchstone for its vision of the future and its technically ambitious dual-timeline storytelling.

This cell, titled Marty and Biff, captures consecutive frames from an interior scene set within a cluttered lab environment, with guitar and wall memorabilia visible in the background. The tight sequence of near-identical frames offers a rare glimpse at the film's physical continuity, preserving both Marty McFly and Biff Tannen within the same shared space across three successive moments of 35mm original photography.
