Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment released Back to the Future Part II in November 1989, continuing one of the decade's most beloved science fiction franchises. Directed by Robert Zemeckis, the film expanded the original's time-travel premise across multiple eras, drawing enormous audiences and cementing the trilogy's place in popular cinema history.
This cell, titled Marty and Biff, captures a tense interior confrontation between Marty McFly and Biff Tannen across three frames. Biff looms in the upper portion of the composition while Marty occupies the lower frame, the consistent framing across all three images conveying the physical and dramatic weight of their standoff. It is a compact document of one of the film's defining character dynamics.
