Back to the Future Part II arrived from Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment in November 1989, following the original film's enormous success. Robert Zemeckis returned to direct a story that pushed deeper into science fiction territory, sending Marty and Doc to a vision of 2015 that has since become one of cinema's most discussed futures. The film remains a landmark of late-eighties blockbuster filmmaking.
This cell, titled Marty McFly Jr. and Griff, captures the tense confrontation sequence set against the neon-lit Hill Valley of 2015. Michael J. Fox appears in the dual role that defined the film's central complication, sharing frames with Thomas F. Wilson's Griff Tannen and Biff Tannen across what reads as a continuous stretch of the encounter scene.
