Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment released Back to the Future Part II in November 1989, continuing one of the decade's most beloved science-fiction comedies. Directed by Robert Zemeckis, the sequel sent audiences forward to the then-distant October 21, 2015, and became a cultural touchstone for its imaginative vision of the future. The film opened to enormous box office success and remains a defining artifact of late-1980s Hollywood filmmaking.
This cell preserves the "Do You Remember… The Future?" title card, a promotional or interstitial frame set against a plain black background with a faint arc or wave graphic element visible within the composition. Title card frames of this kind are rarely pulled from release prints, making this a distinctive piece of the film's marketing and exhibition history.
