FILM NOTES

Back to the Future Part II arrived from Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment in November 1989, the middle chapter of Robert Zemeckis and Bob Gale's beloved trilogy. Following the massive success of the original, the sequel pushed further into ambitious territory, sending its characters across multiple timelines and demanding extraordinary practical and visual effects work. It remains a touchstone of late-1980s blockbuster filmmaking and a genuine landmark in how Hollywood approached science-fiction comedy.

This cell captures George and Lorraine together in an interior setting, one figure leaning toward a device with a small screen while the other stands in the foreground wearing a distinctive starburst-patterned tie. The frame repeats three times across the strip, offering collectors a rare triple-image presentation of a single shared moment between these two central figures from the McFly family story.

This original motion picture film element has been examined and authenticated by Crown Grading in partnership with National Film Vault, and encapsulated for archival preservation.
