Back to the Future Part II arrived in November 1989 from Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment, directed by Robert Zemeckis. Shot back-to-back with Part III, it expanded the original trilogy into an ambitious time-travel triptych, blending 1985, 2015, and an alternate 1985 into a single narrative.
