Lionsgate released The Punisher in April 2004, bringing Marvel's most uncompromising vigilante to screens during a period when comic adaptations were still finding their commercial footing. Directed by Jonathan Hensleigh, the film leaned into gritty action over spectacle, earning a devoted cult following that has only grown in the two decades since.

This three-frame sequence, titled Frank Castle - Locked & Loaded, captures Thomas Jane as Frank Castle mid-exertion, shirtless and gripping a chain or cable overhead in a low-angle industrial composition.
