Lionsgate released The Punisher in April 2004, bringing Marvel's vigilante antihero back to the screen after a 1989 adaptation. Directed by Jonathan Hensleigh and starring Thomas Jane, the film leaned into gritty action and a revenge-driven narrative that found a devoted audience on home video. It remains a notable entry in the early wave of Marvel properties navigating the post-Spider-Man landscape before the studio system fully consolidated around the genre.

This cell, titled Frank Castle - In Action, captures three frames from a warehouse sequence. The first shows Frank Castle crouched low over a wooden structure under dramatic lighting. The center frame freezes a vivid muzzle flash mid-action. The third frame returns to near-identical composition, darker in exposure, the moment immediately after.
