Lionsgate released The Punisher in April 2004, bringing Marvel's most uncompromising vigilante to the screen during a period when comic adaptations were still finding their footing between mainstream appeal and harder-edged material. Thomas Jane's portrayal leaned into the character's grief and brutality, and the film developed a devoted following that outlasted its modest theatrical run.

This cell, titled Frank Castle, captures three consecutive frames from a single continuous shot of Frank Castle reaching upward in a tense interior moment, with Spacker Dave present in the scene. The sequence preserves the raw physicality that defined Jane's performance, and the 35mm strip offers an unbroken glimpse into the film's grounded, street-level atmosphere.
