Lionsgate released The Punisher in April 2004, adapting Marvel's long-running vigilante comic for a post-9/11 audience hungry for morally complicated action. Directed by Jonathan Hensleigh and starring Thomas Jane, the film occupies a particular moment in early-2000s superhero cinema before the genre's full industrialization, making its physical production materials genuinely interesting documents of that transitional period.

This cell, titled Mickey Duka, captures three consecutive frames from what reads as a single unbroken shot sequence. Mickey Duka stands beside a yellow car on a street, photographed from a low angle in dark clothing. The slight positional variation across the three frames preserves the subtle live-action movement between exposures, offering a rare glimpse into the rhythm of the original 35mm photography.
