Lionsgate released The Punisher in April 2004, adapting Marvel's long-running vigilante comic for a post-9/11 audience hungry for morally complicated action. Directed by Jonathan Hensleigh and starring Thomas Jane, the film found a devoted following on home video and remains a touchstone of mid-2000s comic adaptations, occupying a distinct place between the grim tone of earlier genre entries and the emerging superhero blockbuster era.

This cell, titled Joan - Window, captures three consecutive frames of Joan at a stone or brick window ledge, her chin resting softly in her hand.
