Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas was released by Touchstone Pictures in October 1993, produced through Burton's collaboration with director Henry Selick and Disney. The stop-motion animated feature drew immediate critical attention for its singular visual language and Danny Elfman's score, and it has sustained a devoted following across three decades, becoming one of the more enduring works in American animation.

This cell, titled Sally and Halloween Town Citizens, captures Sally amid the gathered residents of Halloween Town, with the Clown with the Tear-Away Face, the Devil, and Behemoth visible in the crowd.
