Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas was released by Touchstone Pictures in October 1993, produced through Burton's collaboration with director Henry Selick and Disney. A landmark in stop-motion animation, the film blended gothic sensibility with musical storytelling, earning a devoted following that has only grown in the decades since its release.

This cell, titled Santa Jack and The Mayor, captures one of the film's most visually striking confrontations: Jack Skellington looming over Santa Claus in a low-angle composition that emphasizes Jack's towering, skeletal frame against a background of red sleigh elements and cluttered holiday imagery. Across three near-identical frames, the sequence preserves the precise moment Jack has assumed control of Christmas, making it a meaningful piece for collectors drawn to the film's central narrative tension.
