Produced by Tim Burton and directed by Henry Selick, The Nightmare Before Christmas was released by Touchstone Pictures in October 1993. The stop-motion animated feature represented a landmark achievement in the format, blending Burton's gothic sensibility with a fully realized musical world. Its success helped establish stop-motion animation as a viable theatrical medium and has sustained a devoted following across three decades.

This three-frame sequential cell, titled Jack and Skeleton Reindeer, captures Jack Skellington silhouetted against a full moon on Halloween Town's graveyard hill, surrounded by twisted skeletal branches and an animal skull visible in the upper frame. The slight positional variation across all three frames confirms their continuity, preserving a brief but complete moment from one of the film's most visually distinctive compositions.
