Pokémon: The First Movie arrived in North American theaters in November 1999, distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures as an adaptation of the beloved Nintendo and Game Freak franchise. Produced by OLM, Inc. and directed by Kunihiko Yuyama, the film marked a cultural milestone, translating the television phenomenon into a theatrical event that drew enormous audiences and introduced a generation to anime storytelling on the big screen.

This cell, titled Brock, Misty, Ash and Their Pokémon, captures a quiet, visually striking moment from the film's underwater sequence.
