Pikachu and Eevee Friends is a 2013 short animated feature produced by OLM, Inc. and distributed alongside Pokémon the Movie: Genesect and the Legend Awakened. The production showcases each of Eevee's evolutions in dedicated vignettes, representing a deliberate celebration of the Eeveelution roster at a moment when the franchise was expanding its eighth evolution, Sylveon, into the lineup. The short holds a particular place in Pokémon animation history as a focused character study rather than a narrative adventure.
This cell, titled Umbreon, captures the Dark-type Eeveelution posed against a deep cosmic background rendered in rich midnight blues and scattered starlight. Umbreon's signature yellow ring markings are clearly defined across its body, while the teal forehead ring carries a distinct luminous quality that reflects the character's nocturnal design philosophy. It is a composed, atmospheric frame.
