Pokémon 4Ever was released in North America by Miramax Films in October 2002, the fourth theatrical entry in the long-running Pokémon franchise. The film holds a particular place in the series as the final installment to feature the original English voice cast, giving it added weight among fans who grew up with the early television run. Produced by OLM, Inc. and based on the globally dominant Nintendo property, it represents the peak years of Pokémon's theatrical ambition.

This cell, titled Ash & Pikachu, captures the two central companions mid-motion through a richly animated forest setting, surrounded by red berries and layered green foliage. Ash reaches upward while keeping Pikachu close, a composition that reflects the bond at the heart of the entire franchise. Printed on 35mm, the frame preserves the warm, hand-drawn quality characteristic of early 2000s anime theatrical production.
