FILM NOTES

Pokémon: Lucario and the Mystery of Mew was released in North America in 2006 by Miramax Films, adapted from the eighth entry in the long-running Japanese animated series produced by OLM, Inc. The film arrived during a period of renewed Western interest in the franchise and is notable for its emotionally grounded story and its introduction of Lucario as a central figure in the Pokémon mythology.

The confirmed cell title Pikachu Battlinf places this frame within an action sequence featuring Pikachu enveloped in a surge of bright yellow electrical energy against a darkened background with blue elements. The encapsulated cell appears to be a duplicate consecutive frame from the same shot, offering collectors a rare paired glimpse at a single charged moment from the film's 35mm print.

This original motion picture film element has been examined and authenticated by Crown Grading, and encapsulated for archival preservation.
