Pokémon: Lucario and the Mystery of Mew was released in North America in 2006 by Miramax Films, adapted from the eighth entry in the long-running Japanese theatrical Pokémon series. The film arrived during a transitional period for the franchise, leaning into a more mythological tone and introducing Lucario as a fan-favorite character whose emotional arc gave the story unusual weight for the series.

This cell captures the confrontation sequence involving Mew and Kidd Summers, framed against the fiery stone interior of the Tree of Beginning. Lucario's aura spheres illuminate the composition, with Kidd Summers visible in the lower portion of the frame.
