Pokémon: Lucario and the Mystery of Mew was released in Japan in 2005 by OLM, Inc. and distributed internationally through Miramax and Pokémon USA. The eighth entry in the theatrical Pokémon series, it marked a tonal shift toward mythology and emotional depth, centering on the Aura Pokémon Lucario and the ancient Tree of Beginning. The film holds a distinct place in the franchise for its more contemplative storytelling and remains a touchstone for fans of the era.
This three-frame cell captures a dynamic sequence involving Mew and Kidd Summers set against a fiery, cracked-stone environment alive with glowing blue aura energy. A large shadowed creature dominates the upper frame while the action unfolds below.
