Pokémon the Movie: Hoopa and the Clash of Ages was released in Japan in July 2015 and internationally later that year, produced by OLM, Inc. and distributed through Toho. The eighteenth entry in the theatrical Pokémon series, it arrived during a period when the franchise was deepening its mythology around Legendary Pokémon, drawing on decades of accumulated lore to craft increasingly ambitious set pieces.

This cell captures Lugia mid-confrontation, its distinctive white form surrounded by the purple and blue energy that defines Hoopa's dimensional power. Ash and Pikachu are present within this charged encounter, placing the frame at the dramatic heart of the film. The duplicate nature of the cell reflects standard printing practice, offering collectors two adjacent views of the same pivotal moment.
