Pokémon: The Movie 2000 was released in North America by Warner Bros. Pictures in July 2000, following the unprecedented theatrical success of the first Pokémon film. Produced by OLM, Inc. and distributed internationally by Miramax, the film arrived at the peak of the global Pokémon phenomenon and remains a defining artifact of late-1990s anime crossover into Western mainstream cinema.

This cell, titled Lugia, presents a duplicate frame pairing of the legendary Pokémon captured from an aerial perspective, wings fully extended as swirling orange and purple energy surrounds the figure below.
