Pokémon: The Movie 2000 was released in North America by Warner Bros. Pictures in July 2000, following the unprecedented theatrical success of the first Pokémon film. Produced by OLM, Inc. and distributed internationally by Miramax, it arrived at the peak of the franchise's cultural dominance and remains a significant artifact of late-1990s animation crossover into mainstream cinema.

This cell, titled Team Rocket, captures Jessie, James, and Meowth in their signature white uniforms bearing the R insignia, photographed across three continuous frames from an interior scene. Jessie was voiced by Rachael Lillis, James by Eric Stuart, and Meowth by Maddie Blaustein, also credited as Madeleine Blaustein, in the English-language production.
