Pokémon: The Movie 2000 was released in North America by Warner Bros. Pictures in July 2000, following the unprecedented cultural wave of the Pokémon franchise. The second theatrical entry in the series, it expanded the mythology introduced in the first film and drew millions of young audiences into cinemas during the height of Pokémon's global dominance. It remains a defining artifact of turn-of-the-millennium animation and popular culture.
This cell, titled Ash & Pikachu, captures the series' central duo navigating what appears to be a dark cave or rocky cavern, their figures rendered small against imposing stone walls. The three frames show subtle shifts in movement, preserving a quiet, atmospheric moment between Ash Ketchum and Pikachu from this landmark theatrical release.
