Pokémon: The Movie 2000 was released in North America by Warner Bros. Pictures in July 2000, following the unprecedented cultural wave of the Pokémon franchise. The sequel to the original theatrical film, it centered on the legendary birds and the oceanic titan Lugia, drawing millions of young audiences into cinemas and cementing the franchise's crossover from television to the big screen.

This cell, titled Moltres, presents a close-up of the legendary fire bird Pokémon across three nearly identical frames, its signature orange and blue plumage rendered against a dark background. Pulled from 35mm theatrical print, the sequence captures a sustained moment with the creature, offering collectors a direct piece of one of the film's most visually striking legendary Pokémon.
