FILM NOTES

Pokémon: The Movie 2000 was released by Warner Bros. Pictures in North America in July 2000, serving as the theatrical follow-up to the franchise's breakthrough debut film. Produced by OLM, Inc. for Nintendo and Game Freak, it arrived at the peak of the global Pokémon phenomenon and remains a significant artifact of late-1990s Japanese animation crossing into mainstream Western cinema.

This cell, titled Pikachu, captures the franchise's most recognizable character across four frames. Pikachu moves from a low resting position against a curved surface, rising gradually to a more upright, forward-facing stance, all set against a clean blue background. The sequence preserves a quiet, unhurried moment that contrasts with the film's larger dramatic scope.

This original motion picture film element has been examined and authenticated by Crown Grading, and encapsulated for archival preservation.
