Signature comparison
This card. The signature as cropped from the slab photo (front).
Below, the known examples Crown compared it with. Examples with stronger proof (signed in front of staff, or certified by an independent authenticator) carry the most weight.
Feature by feature
| Feature | This card | Known examples | Result |
|---|---|---|---|
| Overall form and proportions | A '4'-like lead-in, then a large U/J-shaped bowl. Small capital letters 'ODIE' run diagonally up and to the right through the upper part. 'WA' plus a '4'-like character sits low. A large closed loop forms the terminal on the right. | All references show the same structure: lead-in, deep U bowl, diagonal small-caps 'ODIE', 'WA'/'WA4', and a large right-hand loop (R1–R8). | Match |
| Slant and baseline | Small caps rise steeply at roughly 45°. The U bowl and right loop are near-vertical. | Same steep diagonal rise for 'ODIE' and upright bowls in all references. | Match |
| Letter construction | The 'O' of ODIE is open at the top, so it reads like a 'U' or 'J' hook. 'D', 'I' and 'E' are block capitals. 'WA' is followed by a '4'-like form, and the terminal loop has an inner hook. | 'O' construction varies across references: closed in R1/R4, crowded in R7/R8. 'WA4' appears in R2, R7 and R8. Terminal-loop hooks appear in R2 and R6. | Natural variation |
| Connecting strokes | Mostly disconnected print-style letters. The bowl and loop are each made in a single sweep. | Same disconnected print style, with single-sweep bowls. | Match |
| Starting and ending strokes | The '4' lead-in starts with a tapered entry. The underline finishes with a tapered exit toward the lower right. | The '4'/arrow-like lead-in is present in R1–R8, and the underline exits are tapered. | Match |
| Line quality and speed | Smooth, fluid curves on the bowl and loop. No visible tremor, and no blunt starts or stops at this resolution. | Fluid, fast strokes throughout. | Match |
| Pen pressure pattern | Fairly even marker line with slight thinning at the stroke ends. | Similar felt-tip/marker line with a comparable weight. | Natural variation |
| Spacing | The small caps are tucked inside and above the bowl, and 'WA' sits between the bowl and the loop. | Same nesting arrangement, with the spacing varying slightly from card to card. | Match |
| Flourishes and underlines | One long diagonal underline with a short crossing or second stroke near its start. | The underline count varies: a single stroke in R3/R4/R7 and two parallel strokes in R1, R2 and R6. | Natural variation |
| Placement and size | Lower right of the card, over the blue legs and lightning, sized relative to the art much like the references. | Identical placement zone and similar size on every reference card. | Match |
Examiner notes
Our card is labeled 2026 WhatNot Streamer: YodieWay - Auto #0. All eight references are the same card design, signed in the same spot, with nearby Crown serials (000050495 to 000062467). Ours (000065297) is the latest serial but falls in the same short era. No career-span variation is expected, so differences should be judged as signing-to-signing variation only.
How Crown authenticates autographs: the signature is compared with known examples gathered from Crown's own authenticated cards, independent authenticators and public listings, measured by software, examined by an AI forensic model, and signed off by Crown Grading staff. The decision above is Crown's.
