One Piece: The Time of Battle is a set from the long-running One Piece Card Game, a trading card series built around Eiichiro Oda's manga and anime universe. Sets in this line are released on a steady cadence, and each one tends to be remembered for the characters, story arcs, and artwork it brings into the collectible format. Secret Rare alternate-art cards in particular have become a focus for collectors who follow the line, since they reinterpret familiar characters with fresh illustration and sit at the top of each set's rarity structure. Portgas D. Ace, the fiery second-in-command of the Whitebeard Pirates and beloved older brother to Luffy, is one of the most emotionally resonant figures in the series, and his fans have long wanted to see him showcased well in the card game. This alternate-art rendition gives the character a dynamic presence, and collectors seek it for the way it captures Ace's spirit and his place in the story's history.
